Nicholas Ostroumoff is a qualified artist blacksmith holding a ND in forged metals and iron work.
He is also a member of The Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths. Traditional techniques help to
create bespoke contemporary pieces. Ranging from impressively large chandeliers and gates to the smaller
boot scrapers and fire pokers.

Muchelney Forge has a showroom where other local artists work. There is also a teaching area with classes
being held throughout the year. The forge is easily found, and with many wonderful attractions close by, such
as The John Leach Pottery and Gallery over the road, Muchelney Abbey, Brown and Forrest the smokery in the
next village and the famous Somerset Cider Brandy Company in neighbouring Stembridge, why not visit the
forge and make a day out in this fabulous part of Somerset and discover the Somerset Levels.
